In Development

Samara is always immersed in creative projects, with her current focus on Dance of the Leaves—a community dance initiative exploring a future where humans and animals coexist in an imaginative, sensory, and connected world.

Dance of the Leaves is a free workshop and performance project that brings together participants from diverse backgrounds over several months to create an original dance work. Hosted at the Fish Creek Memorial Hall, the project unites professional artists, designers, technicians, and community members. It emphasizes artistic exploration, skill development, confidence-building, and social connection, resulting in a truly unique collaborative performance.

Proudly supported by Regional Development Victoria's Tiny Towns initiative and The Mercy Foundation, this project highlights the power of community-driven arts.

Alongside Dance of the Leaves, Samara is also developing Dreamweaver—a multi-layered visual and sound installation for the 2026 Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival. In collaboration with South Gippsland artist Sarah Parkes, Dreamweaver will feature a large woven sculpture crafted from repurposed silage wrap, blending sustainability with creativity in a striking public artwork.
